This presentation will focus on IDEA and Wyoming Chapter 7 Dispute Resolution
policies and procedures. Attendees will gain a better understanding of first steps and best
practices when a dispute between parents and districts arises. Topics of discussion will include:
Family engagement, procedural safeguards, informal meetings, mediation, state complaint
process, and due process procedures that are tailored for Wyoming special education
stakeholders.
